Rosslyn Chapel will be hosting a special Christmas concert this year which you can enjoy without leaving home.
Steve King, Director of Music at Heriot-Watt University, explained: ‘As in all things, this year is different! We are delighted to announce that #OneWatt Voices are back and whilst they may not be able to come together physically for our annual Carol Concert in the stunning Rosslyn Chapel, as they’ve done in previous years, that doesn’t mean that they can’t come together virtually – bringing a range of beautiful carols and the magic and majesty of Rosslyn Chapel to life in a deeply powerful and moving performance that will light up laptops all across the world! I invite you, friends and family to settle down with your mince pies and mulled wine in front of your laptops and get into the Christmas spirit. Their performance will be hosted on YouTube and the link will be available here on, or just before the launch date and time, Sunday, December 20th at 5pm.
Ian Gardner, Director of Rosslyn Chapel Trust, said: ‘We are delighted to continue our very positive partnership with Steve King and the wonderful choir from Heriot-Watt University through this innovative project. Despite all of the difficulties this year, we hope that some seasonal music, from the unique setting of Rosslyn Chapel, will bring a little Christmas cheer to many people.’
